Holding Stories: Theatre Work to Honor our Surroundings
With Michael Caemmerer
June 15 – 21, 2025
Join us for a week of storytelling! In this class students will explore the grounds and history of the Grunewald Guild and collaboratively create a way to collect, hold and share stories that define this place.
We will develop original, site-specific theatre to honor the place that is the Grunewald Guild.
Students will be introduced to devising techniques including physical theatre, the use of music, and others as they co-create performances for the community.
Students will be working on creating individual moments of theatre as well as a collaborative group piece that will be presented to the community at the end of the week.
