Join us for Martin Luther King Jr. weekend! We are offering a discounted price (20% off our standard rates) to enable you to enjoy a weekend of retreat, rest and relaxation. There will not be any structured art classes or activities, enabling you to spend the weekend as you want. Possibilities include:
- Cross-country skiing on the new Plain Valley Nordic Ski Trails (rentals available at Plain Hardware and the trail is located just across the street from the store).
- Snowshoeing (rentals available as above).
- Reading retreat
- Writing
- Spending a day in Leavenworth to take in the lights and sights of the Bavarian Village.
- Walking the snow-laden trails and roads around our campus.
- Relaxing in your room or the Centrum, sipping on a freshly roasted and brewed latte from the kitchen.
Meals included in the cost are Friday dinner through Monday breakfast. If you would like to arrive later in the weekend or leave earlier, we can accomodate you and modify the cost accordingly--just contact us and we can work it out for you.
