For over 30 years the Grünewald Guild has served as a creative and innovative example to the world of the transformative power of art and the sacred within the context of community. We are an ecumenical Christian community that embraces people of all journeys and traditions, serving as a sanctuary for their exploration of art, faith and the mystery of creation.
Learn the basic techniques of designing and creating fashion jewelry. We will work with beads made of glass, natural materials (e.g. turquoise, pearls, hematite), crystal, cloisonné, charms and more, combined with silver- and gold-dipped accents and findings. Become comfortable using jewelry-making tools as well as working with head pins, eye pins, jump rings, findings, stringing wire, crimp beads, etc. By the end of class you will have learned to make multiple styles of necklaces, bracelets and earrings.
