Guild Master Jean Tudor


The honor of Guild Master is given to artists who, by their life, faith and work, exemplify what the Guild seeks to embody in the world.  The Guild Board of Trustees voted unanimously to name long-time faculty member Jean Tudor as our newest Guild Master.  Join us on October 10, 2:00-4:00, at Christ Episcopal in Tacoma as we celebrate Jean at her home church!  Local craft beer by Old Schoolhouse, appetizers by Tony, the Guild Traveling Art Exhibit, What Sustain Us, and a concert on Christ Church's amazing organ are included in this special event.  It's free!  Invite friends and RSVP your intentions to


Fall Art Week, October 25-31:  Speaking of Jean, you have the opportunity to take one of her incredible classes or two other great offerings.  Enameling: Tranformation by Fire with Jean, Beadwork: On & Off the Surface with Larkin Van Horn, and Exploring Mosaic in Autumn Colors with Anne Mullenniex are open for registration.

Something Magical Fundraiser Concert, November 14:  Join us for a special celebration of the Guild at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lynnwood, 2:00-4:00.  Classical music from a string quartet, the Guild Traveling Art Exhibit, the Farewell Address by Guild Director Dan Oberg, and a Wine & Appetizer reception are included in this special event.  Tickets are $15 and are available through the link below.  We hope to see you there!




Other News:  The Community Foundation of North Central Washington is partnering with the Guild for a special kids art project at our local elementary, Beaver Valley School, to create a fantastic mural on the outside of their new play area!  We'll be sure to post pictures of the fun & artmaking in following updates.
