Wonder • Discover • Begin!

"Wonder, Discover, Begin" ushers us toward a creative practice that celebrates the union of spirit and matter.

Created in the image of the Holy One, we each are part of this union defined by love and called to make marks as our own unique expressions of this love.

About Our Summer Program

Previous summer guests describe us as...

... a safe place and affirming community

... inspiring & ecumenical

... welcoming, nourishing, & grace-filled

Summer at the Grünewald Guild is a time to express your creative spirit, explore your sacred journey, and engage in nurturing community.

We’re offering a rich variety of classes this year, taught by world-class faculty with an average class size of just seven students. Communal meal times and ecumenical worship add to the intimate and inclusive community that makes the Guild so unique.

If you come with a spouse, partner or friend and wish to enjoy the Guild Summer without taking a class, please talk to us about activities in which you can participate, such as hiking, floating the river, some local attractions or finding some creative space here on campus to do your own work.

And as always, our stunning location in the North Central Cascades offers inspiration for artwork and reflection, as well as rest and recreation.
