For over 30 years the Grünewald Guild has served as a creative and innovative example to the world of the transformative power of art and the sacred within the context of community. We are an ecumenical Christian community that embraces people of all journeys and traditions, serving as a sanctuary for their exploration of art, faith and the mystery of creation.

Situated in the eastern slopes of the Cascade Mountains and on the banks of the Wenatchee River, our campus provides an idyllic setting for group retreats, sabbaticals, reunions and personal getaways. Our facilities are cozy, the food excellent, and rates affordable. View our facilities.
Most important in our mission is hospitality. We are here to offer space for your spiritual journey, and encourage you to pursue it through artistic expression. You may spend your days in contemplation. We offer housing and meals. Our staff is qualified to offer spiritual direction as well as art instruction.
Examples of events that have been held here in the past include:
Church & youth group retreats
Staff/leadership retreats and workshops
Society/organization gatherings
Yoga training retreats
Various seminars and workshops
Guided spiritual retreats

We are conveniently closer than many people realize, making us "far enough, but not too far away" for your next retreat or event (it is generally a 2-hour drive from Lynnwood or Everett and 3 hours from Spokane). All roads leading to the Guild are paved and well maintained throughout the year, even during winter.
