The heart of the Guild campus is the Centrum. A renovated grange hall dating to the 1940s, it features dining and living space, as well as staff office spaces. Our kitchen and dining room can accommodate up to 50 guests for meals. (More information about the Guild dining experience is available here.) The main floor of the Centrum is a large living room space where guests relax, read, sit around the fire, or enjoy lively conversation. There is a phone and guest computer, as well as high-speed wireless internet access available for use. The administrative offices are located in the Centrum, as well as an attached greenhouse which we use to germinate our vegetable starts for the organic garden each year.
The Fiber Arts Studio
Named for the large, airy studio space it houses, this building also offers five guest rooms and two bathrooms. Ground floor rooms and bathrooms are handicap accessible.
This cozy building is dedicated entirely to guest housing, with five guest rooms and two bathrooms. The Homestead also features a shared living room and kitchenette.
A light and airy space tucked on the edge of campus, the Library was the original schoolhouse here in the Plain Valley. The downstairs houses classroom space as well as an impressive art & faith library, while the upstairs level features a dorm-style sleeping loft that can house up to eight guests.
A modern adaptation of the traditional dwellings used by the nomadic peoples of central Asia, the yurt provides rustic three-season housing with a stunning view of the sky. Restrooms and showers are located nearby in both the Centrum and Fiber Arts building.
